Cut the Rope Time Travel
More games to play
Cut the Rope Time Travel is a physics puzzle game you can play free in the browser, no download needed. Each level drops you into a different historical age, where you cut ropes to send a piece of candy swinging to Om Nom and his ancestor. It works at school or work wherever browser games are allowed.
What Cut the Rope Time Travel is about
You control nothing directly except a swipe or click that severs ropes. The candy hangs, swings, and falls under real physics, and you have to time each cut so it lands in both Om Noms' mouths. The twist over the original game is the ancestor: every level has two hungry mouths, which means one solution rarely works and you have to think about the swing path twice.
How to cut and collect
One input does everything. Use it at the right moment and the level is yours.
| Action | How to do it |
|---|---|
| Cut a rope | Click or tap the rope |
| Collect a star | Swing the candy through the star before it reaches Om Nom |
| Restart the level | Use the restart button on screen |
Star scoring across the ages
Each level hides up to three stars in the swing path. You do not need all three to clear a level, but collecting them all is the real challenge. The table below shows how the star goal shapes your approach.
| Star count | What it means |
|---|---|
| 1 star | Feed both Om Noms, nothing more |
| 2 stars | Grab at least two stars on the candy's path |
| 3 stars | Route the candy through every star before the final cut |
Tips for feeding both Om Noms
- Study the rope layout before cutting anything. One wrong cut and the candy drops out of reach.
- Collect stars on the way down, not as an afterthought. Plan the full arc first.
- If the candy misses the ancestor Om Nom, restart quickly. Partial feeds do not count.
- Some levels have bubbles or other objects from the series. Use them to redirect the candy upward when the direct path is blocked.
