What is Cut the Rope: Magic
Cut the Rope: Magic is the third main entry in ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope series, released as a mobile app in December 2015 and playable online from December 2017. The twist over earlier entries is a transformation mechanic: Om Nom can change into different magical creatures mid-level, letting him reach candy that a simple rope cut could never deliver. The core loop is still about physics and timing, but the creature forms add a layer of strategy to every stage.

One control does almost everything. Drag to slice through ropes and watch the physics take over.

Magical creature transformations
The standout feature is Om Nom's ability to transform into magical creature forms. Each form changes how he moves through the level, opening paths that rope-cutting alone cannot reach. One confirmed form is a small bird, which lets Om Nom fly upward to grab stars or reposition before the candy falls. The in-level guide creature can also help you work out which transformation fits the situation.

Tips for collecting all three stars
Finishing a level and collecting every gold star are two different goals. A few habits help with the harder ones.
- Study where the stars sit before you cut anything.
- Cut ropes in the order that swings the candy past the stars first, then lets it drop to Om Nom.
- Transform early if a star is clearly out of reach in Om Nom's normal form.
- Watch the candy's arc after a cut: if it misses, replay and cut the same rope a fraction later.
